Awesome to be out with returning client Kris today.
Again, he'd been booked in for some winter action, but was keen to go for a scramble anyway. We enjoyed a sporting traverse of Striding Edge and after a bite to eat on the summit of Helvellyn we dropped onto Catstycam.
The neve (hard snow) is still present at the top so we deployed our ice axes that were still worth taking for such obstacle, and we had a little play around with some movement and axe techniques. It was a just a taste of winter skills, but Kris was stoked we managed to have this play.
