In recent years the Lakeland 24 Peaks Challenge has started to become a bit of a classic. It is a 2 day walking challenge, of which the Lakeland 10 Peaks is day one. As you can imagine, with a first day as tough as the one listed above, a second day which includes 14 peaks wouldn't be an easy one. The second day of the 24 Peaks is a slightly easier day, but it still covers 14 miles and racks up an impressive 2300m ascent - bringing the challenge total to over 31 miles and more ascent than the height of Mont Blanc!
Day 1
The Butteremere ridgeline
Great Gable
The summit of the Highest Mountain in England
Sensational views from Bowfell
Bagging 10 Peaks
A very tough day out which will be sure to test you.
Finish the day at a walkers pub
Day 2

Fantastic walking terrain with excellent views throughout
Bagging 14 Peaks
Completing the Lakeland 24 Peaks Challenge
The second day is again a linear one, so transport to collect the group from the end of the challenge is required. Those best suited to this challenge are fit and have a good level of walking experience. Ideal for those who have completed challenges such as the National 3 Peaks, Yorkshire 3 Peaks and the Lakeland 10 Peaks.
