Guided Fell Running

August 31, 2019

Smiley miles with Lisa today as we hit the trails around Derwent Water and avoided the worst of the weather.

It's always great when we get the opportunity to take clients for a run and today was no exception.

We started at Portinscale and Catbells was our first objective. We ascended to a surprisingly quiet summit and then got off of it just as a shower came across. We then followed Riverside trails down to Rosthwaite. From here we climbed once more up and over to Watendlath before trotting along more great trails to Surprise View, Ashness Bridge and then Walla Crag.

A speedy descent towards Keswick and some final miles to Portinscale in the sun. Ace times.

16.5 miles total. #LivefortheNow
