ABOUT THE TEAM
Lakeland Mountain Guides was established in September 2012, and since then it has helped thousands of people from many different walks of life reach summits, achieve goals, defeat challenges and learn new skills. Our aim is to provide a premium service of outdoor activities across the UK. Whether you are booking as an individual, for friends and family, as a charity or as a corporate group, we can guarantee you will receive a professional service from start to finish. Some of our most notable events include assisting 150 people to the summit of Snowdon or Scafell Pike for Sunrise, guiding the Paralympic Flame up Scafell Pike, and raising over £67,000 for various charities since 2015 with our Lakeland Festival of Light series.
Our ethos is simple, we feel you should 'Live for the Now', and we've got a whole range of activities and adventures available to help make that happen.

THE TEAM
MATT LE VOI - COMPANY DIRECTOR
Matt is behind the wheel of Lakeland Mountain Guides and has pushed it every step of the way from it's birth back in 2012. Matt has a real passion for adventures and enjoys nothing more than being out amongst the mountains making memories, usually with mountain-hound Bindi by his side. Matt has a broad range of experience - from having been up Scafell Pike over 500 times and winter mountaineering adventures in Scotland to managing expeditions in the Himalaya tackling 6000m peaks.
Matt holds the Winter Mountain Leader Award, is a Rock Climbing Instructor, is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and has a First Class honours degree in Adventure Tourism Management.

Ady is our North Wales Event Manager. Ady has a life full of mountain experiences from across the world and is an active member of the Llanberis MRT.
James is hardly seen standing still. From weekly climbing trips (usually to Scotland) to running 24 hour challenges he's what you'd call a 'keen bean'
Having previously worked in N. Wales and the French Alps, Geoff now instructs in the Lake District. He loves a good road trip and is often planning climbing adventures.
Being midlands based doesn't prevent Fliss from getting her mountain fix as she'll often be found scrambling in Snowdonia or walking in the Lakes. She'll always bring a smiling face to your day out!

Ed is a super passionate mountain leader and will inject fun and education in to every day out. An active member of Patterdale MRT and a seasoned expedition leader.
From working abroad chartering yachts to Scuba Diving, learning Spanish to renovating houses James has a range of skills and tales to go with them. A great guy to share a hill day with for sure.
With a passion for adventure and infectious smile on her face, Carol is just as much at home roaming and climbing the mountains here in the UK to guiding expeditions to the Himalaya. “sharing those moments with others is what really matters”
It doesn't matter if it's howling a gale and raining, Andy will be there with a smile on his face. His catchphrase is simple...

Peak District based Scott turned his hobbies into a second career and now enjoys introducing people to the outdoor sports he's spent his life doing. At 6ft 6 he's also unmissable!
Sharon is never without her infectious smile and she just loves being out and about. From running and hiking to biking and camping, she rarely passes up an opportunity for an adventure.
Kev is one of our more mature but no less enthusiastic members of the team. A keen cyclist,runner and swimmer. His real passion is for being out in the mountains and loves to share this with others.
Keith has a wealth of experience trekking and leading expeditions all over the world. Being based in Liverpool means he'lloften be guiding for us in both Snowdonia and the Lake District.
