“Matt from Lakeland Mountain Guides hosted our very first Keswick Three Peaks Challenge. Fundraising events and fundraising as a whole, is very new to us as an organisation, and I felt fully at ease knowing we were in safe hands with Matt and the team. We were in communication throughout the entire booking process, and Matt told me no question was too silly. All of our queries were answered promptly and I felt well informed throughout the entire process.
The day itself was very well organised and Matt and George were very helpful and accommodating to our team and our needs. The atmosphere was wonderful and it was great to hear more about the guides and some of their previous adventures, many of which were much more extreme than our relatively straightforward challenge! We were truly blessed with the weather too as the sun shone all day long.

"The navigation training - I can't tell you how useful it was. We took leading the navigation in turns and I could really add value. We did get lost a few times but not nearly as much and even when I was just looking at our map it was great to have an idea of where along a particular ridge or wadi, I thought we were. You were right too, pacing and timings were crucial. Anyway I hope you can see I can't thank you enough. My wife, myself and our 3 daughters climbed to the summit of Scafell Pike last Saturday 4th August under Matt's expert guidance. It was an exhilarating day for us and a day that we will never forget! Matt was first class, his decisions, based on the impending weather were spot on.he was very friendly,great with our daughters and made the hard walk very enjoyable.we had great weather until about a third of the way down then got hailstones and torrential rain lol.
