Do you reckon you've got what it takes to climb Skiddaw, Helvellyn, Scafell Pike and Scafell all in daylight hours?
Join us on Saturday 25th May (Bank Hol Weekend) to take on the Lakeland 3000's Sunset Challenge. You will tackle the 4 3000ft peaks in England via some of the best routes up them - including the Ullock Pike ridge on Skiddaw and Striding Edge on Helvellyn. We will set off at the crack of dawn and the aim is to complete the 4 mountains, travelling in between them by minibus before the sun officially sets.
This challenge entails about 16 hours of walking (approx 24 miles over rough ground, inc scrambling) so it is pertinent you have previous mountain experience and a high level of fitness.
Previous challengers have found this unique challenge created by LMG a brilliant and rewarding experience. It compares well to the difficulties of the National 3 Peaks Challenge but saves driving over 11 hours down the UK as you go!

Please note that the length of day runs from 0430 when we meet to roughly midnight depending on how the challenge goes time wise.

L3K Sunset Challenge - An LMG Original
This is an extremely strenuous day out in the hills and is only really suited to those with a good level of fitness and walking experience. That being said, should you not be able to complete there is the opportunity to drop out at the end of leg 1 and leg 2.
