Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th September 2018

Join us for a weekend of scrambling the some of the most classic ridges the Snowdonia has to offer. As well as completing these ridges, we also aim to help improve your scrambling skills and teach you little about the area.

On day one you will meet your guide and the rest of the group at Pen Y Pass with the objective of climbing Snowdon via Crib Goch. Our route up Snowdon starts from Pen Y Pass and joins the Pyg Track. After 40 minutes or so the path up towards the mighty Crib Goch leaves the Pyg Track, and not before long the scrambling is started. Once on the ridge itself cautious and exhilarating scrambling is enjoyed. You’ll continue over the summit of Garnedd Ugain and then on to the summit of Snowdon itself. From this point there are a couple of options. Depending on progress you’ll either descend via the Pyg / Miners Track or you may continue over Y Lliwedd to enjoy the full Snowdon Horseshoe. THis day will last between 6-8 Hours.

Day two is centred around the infamous mountain of Tryfan. Without looking to Scotland, Tryfan is arguably one of the best mountains in the UK. Within just 15 minutes of the car the scrambling starts on it’s north ridge, and it can be enjoyed all the way to it’s iconic summit. You’ll have the opportunity to really explore this mountain on your way up, and it’ll be an ascent you’ll never forget for sure. From the summit there is more scrambling to be enjoyed down the South Ridge, after which you’ll descend down to Cwm Bochllwyd and back to the start.
