Sunday 7th July - 09:30am (Time May Change)
Via Ferrata is Italian for the 'Iron Road'. It's origination is from when soldiers would use metal ladders, rungs and bridges to make their way across the Alps. Right here in the Lake District we are lucky enough to have two Via Ferrata routes right on the rocky crags of Fleetwith Pike - which is also still an active slate mine! Kitted up with a helmet, harness and Via Ferrata lanyards, you will make your way around the course, clipping the safety wires and loops as you go.
If you are looking for something to give you and your friends that buzz, and want a truly memorable experience then why not join Lakeland Mountain Guides for one of our Via Ferrata experiences! This activity really is a perfect group, club, society and stag or hen do activity. The Extreme course lasts about 4 hours and includes the traverse of an infinity bridge and a cargo net!
Each session has a maximum of 12 places. Private group experiences can be organised on other dates to suit.
Join us for just £45 per person. This includes all technical equipment and a bunch of photos taken on the event.
