Wales has 14 3000ft mountains and the challenge is simple - to have stood on the top of all of them within a 24 hour period. The challenge has a wide variety of terrain and experiences, from grassy peak bagging over the Carneddau to super exposed scrambling on Crib Goch and Tryfan. In total the route is 25+ miles and hosts a leg numbing 3000m of ascent. The challenge generally runs from south to north, with Snowdon being the first peak. It is a continual 24 hour challenge and you will be met twice as you cross the road to change clothes and replenish some vital calories. The challenge is also doable over a multi-day period and if this is a preferred method for you let us know. Either way it is best suited to those with previous hill walking experience and a high level of fitness.
