Join a fully guided sunrise walk up Scafell Pike, all in aid of Hospice at Home West Cumbria! There really is nothing quite like hiking up a mountain at night.
From Wasdale we'll ascend the Brown Tongue path to the summit of the highest mountain in England under darkness, with the aim of reaching the summit just in time to watch the sun rise from the east. After enjoying this golden moment we will descend back down via the same route.
Fundraising Commitment
By signing up to this challenge, you are pledging to raise a minimum amount of £100 to support Hospice at Home West Cumbria.
The charity has subsidised your entry fee towards this event, therefore if you cancel, you will not receive a refund of the £35 entry fee, and you will be required to pay an additional amount of £30 to cover the costs of your place.

Scafell by Sunrise for WCHaH
This walk is suitable to those with a reasonable level of fitness. Mountain walking experience not essential. The route does comntain some steep sections and rugged paths, but there is no exposure.
