Big thanks to Paul, Steve, Danny, Danielle, Dave and Carly for joining us for our One Day Winter Skills Course today. This course is designed to provide an intro to winter walking and also provide a memorable day journeying in the hills, and that's exactly what these guys got! Under day long blue skies and sunshine we covered the use of crampons and walking axe as well as plenty of discussion on planning and avalanche awareness - all whilst making our way to the summit of a wintry Helvellyn.
