Today was an absolute treat. As you'll clearly see we spend a lot of our time guiding folk up the highest peaks such as Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis. Joanne and Marina got in touch as they wanted a little help on their journey to complete the Wainwrights. With Marina only having a handful remaining they had clearly hiked a lot but felt like having a little help for Kirk Fell and Pillar. We ascended to Beck Head (between Gt. Gable and Kirk Fell) and ascended to the summit. From here we descended the steep and rugged western side down to Black Sail Pass. Given the lovely weather we stuck to the top path rather than hiding around the north side on the shaded (but amazing!) 'High Level route'. The ladies powered up to the summit, on which we admired the amazing views that the mountain holds. #liveforthenow
