Fun times on Striding Edge yesterday for LMG Ed and this great group. Here's what he had to say..
'What a lovely way to spend my birthday! I had a lovely family group for a round of Helvellyn via the Edges. While a lot of people choose to get out with us at warmer times of the year today’s cold temperatures meant the crowds had stayed away and the lovely autumn colours across the fells provided some magnificent views just for us.
If any of our more southerly followers fancy a tasty meal Sam and Alex’s restaurant in Cambridge (@restaurant22_cambridge ) sounds awesome and apparently the steep stairs from the kitchen to the dining area are good training for the fells!'
