'To the highest mountain in England from the wettest place in England on a very, shall we say 'atmospheric day', with wild winds and driving rain...good friends Sophie and Pat ticked off another experience from their bucket list. Well done to them both and superb to see them smiling all the way to the summit of Scafell from Seathwaite - to top it off, this was the 1st ever mountain walk for Pat! A great day, with wonderful company and two people who really did see the beauty of the mountains in such wild conditions and as Pat mentioned, it just wouldn't have been the same of a sunny day!! Smiles say it all.'
