A fantastic and very rewarding day out with Chris (81!!), Sean and Lewis on Blencathra. Earlier in the year Chris suffered a heart attack on Barrow and was rescued by Keswick Mountain Rescue Team. He was keen to do what he could to repay them by tackling Blencathra via Sharp Edge and raising some money for the team as he did it. His daughters booked us as a birthday present and so today we completed our usual scrambling route of ascending Halls Fell and Sharp Edge in fine conditions. Well done to all, but especially Chris for bouncing back from his illness and raising over £300 for KMRT. Fab! #LivefortheNow
