Two days in Great Langdale spent teaching navigation to a couple of attentive and enthusiastic students. As well as working hard through the course Sam and Nick provided a brilliant outdoor classroom that we used used for some table top exercises each morning (check out the pics of their luxury set up at the Great Langdale NT Campsite) along with providing fab elevensies of home grown marrow cake for all course members and their instructor. If you’re thinking of getting out on a Nav Course with LMG you might need to brush up on your baking skills first as the standard has been raised to ensure that your bribe gets you top marks! 😃
After a little cake and a lot of nav Sam amd Nick ended the course more confident in their abilities and with a toolbox full of tactics and strategy’s to allow them to head out (and be able to find their way back) on their own adventures.
