Buttermere Horseshoe Challenge complete! 💪
Well done to the 11 folks who took on the full Horseshoe route and to the 7 who completed the half horseshoe today, all in aid of Hospice at Home West Cumbria.
We set off at 7am and steadily climbed up one of the steepest paths around - Red Pike from Buttermere Lakeshore. From Red Pike the teams hiked across High Stile and High Crag, followed by Haystacks. The Full horseshoe folks bagged Fleetwith Pike before both teams met at Honister Pass.
The full team then had to get back on the ascent and tackled the long drag up Dale Head. From this summit they put the pedal down and flew across Hindscarth and Robinson before heading back to Buttermere to finish.
Some epic efforts out there today by all, everyone should be very proud! Thanks again to Hospice at Home for having us host for the 2nd year!
