A smashing day with Margaret, Vicky and James on the Coledale Horseshoe celebrating Margaret's 70th.
It's always a treat to guide this amazing horseshoe, not just because it's got ace views and multiple summits, but because it's my fave!
We set off in a clockwise fashion to give us a more gradual ascent rather than having to take on Grisedale Pike in the morning heat.
As well as Sail, Eel Crag and Grisedale Pike we bolted on Grasmoor too.
What an amazing day! I hope I'm walking this route when I'm 70!
