A round of Helvellyn'a edges for Lee and Melanie today, under the guidance of LMG Ed.
The couple were staying at the King's Head in Thirlmere, so after ascending to the summit they first descended to Striding Edge and enjoyed this classic scramble in reverse to the traditional direction. Once completed it was down to Red Tarn and then up Swirral Edge.
