Whilst I was down in Coniston running a ghyll scrambling session in Church Beck yesterday, Ed was on Helvellyn.
Here's what he had to say...
' A hot, sweaty day on Helvellyn with today’s group ascending Helvellyn via Striding Edge with lots of water stops and splashing of heads at any available point. Almost a brief snooze while enjoying the sun and views from a lunch stop just off the summit before tackling Swirral Edge. Then a refreshing dip and foot soak in Glenridding Beck to cool down before the final push back to Glenridding. A great day out but hot, hot, hot!'
