Lake District Rock Climbing

It's always ace to be a small part of a journey towards a wider goal.

David is off to make an attempt on the Matterhorn (the Toblerone mountain) and fancied a day of rock climbing at the equivalent sort of standard in his alpine climbing boots to get back into the swing of things.

The morning rain limited choices for the day, but LMG Gibson thought heading to Raven Crag on Glaramara would fit the brief.

The pair climbed Corvus (Diff ***) which holds some fantastic climbing on good holds for multiple pitches. The traverse is always a highlight!

After they went to run through abseiling which is a vital skill to be competent at for Alpine climbing as you'll quite often be a bit tired when it comes to the descent.

Thanks both and good luck, David! #LivefortheNow
