A very enjoyable few hours out above Honister this morning with returning LMG client Andrew.
Andrew was a self confessed novice with a map and compass so he booked in for a bespoke Navigation training course to get his skills underway.
We were just halfway through the day and Andrew had a beaming smile on his face, as already he'd grasped the concept and was feeling much more confident. This is always a treat to see for us instructors.
The conditions today, providing you're not afraid of short, sharp showers, were perfect for the course. The mist hung low and limited visibility, meaning the map and various tactics were the only way forward.
