A day of refreshing skills and new experiences on the rock for Dom and Laura today.
Hopefully next week they'll be ascending the infamous Inaccessable Pinnacle on the Isle of Skye and so their day on Raven Crag in Langdale with LMG Gibson was well spent.
They ascended Middlefell Buttress and Dom got back into the swing of belay building again, whilst Laura completed her first multipitch climb. From the top of the route they abseiled off to the bottom of the crag.
At this point Laura retired to the campsite and Dom got another couple of routes in brushing up his leading skills, building more belays and setting up retrievable abseils.
All in all a fun and educational day for both with plenty of smiles to go around. Well done and thanks all! 🤙
