A stellar day out with the Pervez family today. CLlare got in touch wanting a quiet walk up Scafell Pike from the Wasdale side - impossible! I hear you say - well, you'd be wrong!
From the Wasdale Head Inn we set off up the head of the valley and then took the stunning Piers Gill Path. As the route crossed the Corridor Route we then enjoyed some off path scrambling. We then found the crowds at about 900m.
After a bite to eat on the top we descended back to Lingmell col, and then came down the secluded Lingmell Nose.
