Back on Wednesday Ian and Caroline enjoyed a walk up Scafell Pike from Eskdale.
This is a long but stunning approach to Scafell Pike, and is also one of the quietest ways in.
The day was super hot so the pace was kept slow but the pair continued on to the summit of Scafell Pike via Mickeldore. Their descent took them down Little Narrowcove and back across Great Moss to where they started.
