A super day out up Skiddaw with Vanessa and Helen.
The pair were staying at Eden Green Guesthouse in Keswick and fancied a nice walk, preferably not too busy, and with some good views. With Skiddaw on the doorstep it made sense to head there.
Our day started by heading up alongside Latrigg and then we continued to follow the picturesque and quiet Cumbria Way to Skiddaw House. From the hostel we then ascended up Sale How.
With the cloud sitting on Skiddaw's High point we opted to head to the top of Skiddaw Little Man, which was not only clear but also has the better views anyway.
We then descended down Jenkin Hill and back to Keswick, all ready for a cup of tea after a great day out.
