Our 6th Striding Edge by Torchlight event was a roaring success last night. We met 30 fundraisers in a drizzly Glenridding and after splitting into our 3 smaller teams we steadily ascended towards Helvellyn and into the darkness. As with every year there is an air of excitement and trepidation but soon enough it was time to get scrambling. The clag was down which helped to add to the drama and everyone scramble cautiously and efficiently whilst having a fun time on the edge. The three teams moved very well to the top of Helvellyn. Swirral Edge was the descent route which offered a great spectacle as the three groups moved down. Myself and all the LMG team are super happy with how this event went once again and would like to thank everyone who supported it and say a huge well done for everyone who participated last night.
