Well that was a hot one! 🌤️
LMG regular Anne is back for her hols and so it's time to bag some Wainwrights! After examining the list of remaining peaks I pulled together a proper bagging mission.
From Wrynose Pass we first headed north and ticked Pike O Blisco. This was followed by the Wainwright top on the Crinkle Crags, after which we turned back south and got Cold Pike.
We then descended back to Wrynose Pass to cross the road and head steeply up onto the Wet Side Edge. From here we got Great Carrs and Grey Friar, followed by a descent towards Coniston.
22km and 1200m of ascent! Bosh! #LivefortheNow
