A fab day out with returning client Gemma. Our aim of the day was for her to experience using some winter walking kit.
Helvellyn was once again our venue of choice and we were not disappointed. We approached to Red Tarn and then ascended Swirral Edge to the summit. Keen to not be stuck in the strong winds and driven hail we descended Swirral Edge which was also great fun.
Gemma did exceptionally well and it's been great to see and help her develop her confidence. Just a couple of years ago she did Striding Edge (in summer) and was much more nervous.
